Compost Tea

The League has never discussed Bella's human friends. So I think it's high time we address the elephant in the room. And by elephant I mean Eric, the ambiguously gay playa.

I don't remember there being a gaysian in the book. Oh Eric, we love you. You're totally the kind of guy we'd want picking out our clothes.

Yeah, Angela and Jessica would have had much better help picking out prom dresses had they taken Eric instead of Bella.

I loved Eric. I wanted him to go dress shopping with me. In fact, maybe Bella should have asked for his fashion advice before the prom. He would have told her how awful those converse looked with that dress. I know...I know, Spank, you like that look. *rolling eyes*

Eric didn't just want to go to "LaPush baby" but make that an adjective with Mike Newton. And wasn't he a little TOO excited about "the worm".

Yes he did seem to like showing everyone his worm, didn't he?

hahaha! Yeha it did throw me for a loop when eric ended up asian.

But I never guessed he was gay, I was too much in shock that there was an asain in forks! I guess if they have vampires, they can have asians too!

Nah...he's not gay. He's bi, or at least bicurious. Though I have a feeling that if he knew vamps existed he'd definitely be a (to steal a word from Sookieverse) fangbanger.

But the Asian part was shocking...and he wasn't as geeky as I thought he would be.

Thats so funny, I really didn't see him as gay until I was reading another magazine that listed all the reasons why the movie was better than the book, and one of the reasons was that Movie Eric was a fun "gaysian"

I think I actually snorted Coke through my nose when Eric came on the screen for the first time. I mean, really? I don't remember him being described as gaysian in the book, either.

That dude confused me. Totally fab, yet asked Bella to the prom in an "I like you" way??? Weird. - @rosenfie

I'm with Tracy-- he was just confusing. I think the way he talked threw me more than anything. He just didn't say those things in the book. Why the heck add all that in?
