Oh for the love of all that is holy...

Kristen Stewart, will you PLEASE just shut the hell up? We have endured your moping, stilted interviews. Your complete disregard for your fans. Your total lack of desire to support, promote, or speak about Twilight. The final straw, though, was your recent statements to Nylon and through your father. To paraphrase, you said the fans of Twilight are psychotic and you declined to present at the Oscars with Rob Pattinson because you want to be chosen for a "good movie" and not a movie that "makes a lot of money."

While Kristen is clinging to her "artistic integrity" she's alienating the fans of Twilight. How many actresses in Hollywood would KILL for a blockbuster movie? That cover of Nylon magazine wasn't because of her daring performance in whatever-movie-she's-out-promoting-while-being-a-bitch. Now, I know she's smoked a lot of pot, so economics might not be her strong suit. I'm gonna break it down in a way she'll understand: Twilight = money = pot. No Twilight = no money = no pot.

But Meadow, tell us how you really feel.

I have a feeling that Kristen Stewart, star of noteworthy films Zathura: A Space Adventure and Catch That Kid, won't be needing a seat saved for her at the Oscars anytime soon.

Kristen said in the Nylon interview that she lacks a "contrived personality" but she wasn't broad enough -- she doesn't have a personality at all; or at least not one worth mentioning (without the need for expletives). Her brooding about the fans of Twilight and the promotion for the film is not only pompous but incredibly insulting to her Twilight costars who have all carried the publicity for Twilight with a respectable level of appreciation for the movie and the fans. It is becoming increasingly difficult for Twilight fans to separate Bella from Kristen and it's not too late for a fresh start, Summit. I say give Spank a chance...

I, I, I, uh.... uhhmmmm, no..., no...... you, you just can't say that about me. I don't, can't, don't ever say that about me, don't uhm ever say that about me again... I'm too, too talented... I mean... you just can't say that about me!
Friggin' piss ant - boot the biatch!

I hear Natalie Portman really enjoyed meeting Rob at the Oscars. Maybe we could hope for a recast for Eclipse.

Normally, I would be a huge advocate of continuity and not switching out characters... hence the whole reason I campaigned (in my head) to keep Taylor as Jacob. But, K.Stew is pissing me off with her attitude. I think I'd be willing to make an exception to my love of continuity and accept Natalie Portman as a new Bella. Besides, if the rumors are true, sounds like there might be some real life chemistry between the two.

Helloooo.... Spank as Bella... Anyone? Anyone?

yep, I think I said the same thing weeks ago-- it's not too late for the fans to adjust to a new Bella!!

If it were any other movie and she was doing this, I wouldn't go.
Pompous little twit.

Oh, I am just too tired to repeat myself. Do you know what time it is for me? 3:54 am! This is twice this week I have commented at this time. I officially have a problem. I blogged this week about this and other issues here....

Kristen Stewart says and Uncategorical "NO"

Can I just ask the most important question? Why the HELL does anyone work with the little skank? Seriously...why would you want to have someone like little miss my shit don't stink working with you on a daily basis? If she's such a damn good actress then where's her Oscar? Oh...that's right...she's only gotten those shitty parts like twilight, etc. Well guess what Miss Stewart...you won't get anything better the road you're walking.

Seriously...first she calls the fans retarded, then psychotic and now she shits on twilight? Who the hell does she think she is? Someone needs to smack a bitch and I'll gladly do it.

(Forgive my language, but she just gets me heated.)

Gingersnaps said...

Understood, @Shana. She gets us all heated. And in a completely different way than Robert Pattinson gets us heated.

There are no words for how i feel about this subject, but as imbeingheldhostage said this about sums it up: Pompous Little Twit.

Ok first it's Emmy Angeldust here lol

And these are my thoughts on KStew...

She is an ungrateful little b***h! Not only is Twilight her ticket to fame and celebrity but it's making her a freakin' millionaire!
Besides, it's not like she's an amazing actress or was already a starlet before she scored this role.
She was little more than nothing before she was cast as Bella.

KStew...Harden the f**k up!!

Btw...is there anyone out there that can help me with my blog layout? The coding on this site is making my head hurt lol

This deeply saddens me. I liked KStew so much only to have my hopes and dreams shattered like this...

NOT! MOVE OVER BIOTCH!! Spank is on her way up!!!

I am over it and over Kristen. It makes me sad that she is going to tarnish New Moon with her attitude. If it wouldn't hurt Rob so much, I would also scream to recast her.

tynie626 said...

so ungrateful!! i'm so sick of her attitude!!! i wouldn't mind if she was recast, its not like her acting was so amazing i would miss it anyway, lol.

she's so lucky her parents are in the business, its probably the only way she keeps getting roles.

i'm just really sick of her talking sh*t about the movie, and the fans. its a slap in the face to her castmates, to the director and to stephenie meyer!! she doesn't deserve to be bella!! its not cool she's getting rich and famous off a movie she obviously doesn't stand by.

grrr.

jennykate77 said...

Maybe they should pay her in pot?

just an idea.

I don't like Kristen's nonchalant ways toward Twlight...she definitely doesn't realize how lucky she is to have been cast in a roll like this. I don't like the way she won't talk about Twilight and just indulge the fans. She's a little "b" most of the time. However, I have major issues with change...so, I wouldn't want any re-casting going on...just like I didn't want Taylor to be re-cast...she's the only Bella. She just needs to straighten up and quit acting like a brat.

@ Johanna - Thank you for your support. ;)

Meadow- I've been waiting for this. I've heard Spanks and Ginger voice their opinion.

Ok, also In the Land of Women and Jumper, what the heck kind of roles were those? Seriously, Twilight was a good role, great book, maybe the movie could of been better if she hadn't done so poorly with all the stuttering.

Yes, I used to be a fan of KStew and would defend her but I don't think I can anymore.

Anonymous said...

Pretentious. Her performance in the movie is one of the major draw backs of it, so for her to be turning her nose up at it after the fact is just...unbelievable.

Her Daddy should of stated that his daughter would accept an invitation to present ONCE SHE HAD GIVEN A PERFORMANCE THAT WARRANTED THE INVITE!

Sorry I lost my cool. This bippy is ruining my Twilight buzz, and I've had enough. I always thought that Natalie P, or Anne H. would've made spectacular Bellas.

Love your blog ladies!!!

Does anyone who has any pull read our blog? Because, check that picture of Natalie Portman as Bella! If someone sent that to her agent I bet she'd be sold. (Sorry Spank.) ;)

I am sorry, but this is just completely unfair. The Nylon quotes were just her being honest, and they were not wrong. ‘What is it like to kiss a vampire’ is a moronic question. How is an intelligent person supposed to respond to that? Going to a fan event where security has to physically carry you to your vehicle is indeed a psychotic situation for the person being carried off. Look at things from her perspective, she is not wrong. In the past she has been genuinely upset that her comments were misconstrued (when talking to the fan sites at the Twilight premiere), she has said repeatedly that she loves the fans and that she is proud of the movie. The media loves to put people in a box, and they have decided that Kristen is ‘difficult’. Your attack on her here is pretty scathing and cruel, the same things you accuse her of being.

About her dad's comments, how many of us would want our parents speaking on our behalf? I know I wouldn’t. You can’t blame her for things her dad said which were probably taken out of context. I don’t understand people saying that Kristen needs Twilight to support herself or that she “lives off the fans”. That is nonsense. She had a respected indie career before Twilight came along, had done lots of movies, and is extremely well-respected in the business. Her salary for the movie was negotiated before anyone in the fandom even knew her name. She is a real person and not one of the typical celebrity put-on-a-fake-smile attention whores.

One of the big problems with the Twilight fandom (and I am a fan) is that they go nuts anytime anyone even suggests that their beloved Twilight is not OMG!!!thebestthingever!!!! Constructive criticism and perspective is a good thing folks!

Okay, to start off, I don't like KStew's comments regarding the fans. But what Twilight fans is she talking about? (I'm hoping its the 12 year old girls who are crushing). I'm pretty sure that none of us on here would ask stupid questions of them, should we have the chance to.

I would think that her publicist/the Twilight publicist should meet with her and let her know that she needs a 'new filter' for comments. That she shouldn't talk about 'her fans' in such a way.

However, I must say that I would be afraid that if they recast the role of Bella that Rob might pull out as well (which would be HORRIBLE!). If the script is so much better for New Moon than it was for Twilight, lets see how she does. Hopefully she will have some sort of epiphany and realize that this is her ticket, and learn how to think before she speaks.

@ Pens: Thanks so much for your commentary. We appreciate all views here. Tomorrow we actually flip the coin to talk about the good aspects of KS as Bella (infused with humor, of course). The bottom line is her demeanor is what it is and it speaks for itself. What comes out of her mouth adds fuel to the fire. I also agree that she is not necessarily responsible for what comes out of her father's mouth but she has not denounced his backhanded insult to Robert Pattinson who was in the same movie and did appear at the Oscars -- or all the other actors who attended and were in films that "just made a lot of money."

I agree with you 100% that the Twilight phenomenon is overwhelming (and surely insane for those within it) but it is no less so (in fact, it is more so) for Robert Pattinson and he seems to be doing a fine job of not biting the hands that feed him. Just my 2 cents. :)

Nevertheless I really wanted to thank you again your thoughtful view and commenting it here. It is boring when everyone agrees. Hope you continue to visit our little home on the WWW.

@ Meadows: Pete Best. That's all I'm sayin'. ;)

Anonymous said...

@Spank - Perfectly said on Pens comments...Couldn't have said it better myself!

Spank, you have my support for the role of Bella. In fact I will support you on location, at the premieres, etc. :)

@Meadow - "Twilight = money = pot. No Twilight = no money = no pot." No that's math surely even KStew can understand!

Part of me wants to get really mad about her statements and her attitude, but then I remember that this poor girl is only 18 and has unfortunately grown up in Hollywood which could not have been a good influence on her. Also, evidently her father has quite a sharp tongue which she seems to have inherited.

I think she has a lot and I mean a lot of growing up to do. She should be more thankful for the press and the opportunities that being in the Twilight movies will give her. She is clearly not the break out star of the movie--I think the world is well aware by now that Robert Pattinson is that break out star, and he seems to be very humble and respectful about it. She should learn from him. She is potentially harming her future career with her attitude. She is not that great an actress at this point in her life to have such an attitude, and if she keeps it up, I do not think that she will have to worry about being asked to be on the Oscars again. Her agent or whomever handles her press, should have a chat with her and soon.

you will fight me for the role of Bella, you will

@Melanie G. Allen

I agree with what you are saying about growing up in Hollywood. I'm sure she has had some craziness when growing up there. I also wonder if her being 'hard headed' and 'outspoken' could be a defense mechanism she has created for herself so that she doesn't get burned by the business she has chosen to be in.

I know personally since I was 18 I've grown a lot and know now when/what to say in certain situations.

Pens said...

Wow-I thought you guys would hate me. Thanks for the welcome :)

I definitely see where she comes across badly sometimes, and I am not one to defend her every move. I do feel that it does have a lot to do with her immaturity and an idealism and self-righteousness, which is not necessarily a bad thing at 18, it is sort of what you are supposed to do, if that makes sense. I think as she gets older she'll start to understand more about the consequences of her comments-she certainly needs some help in the PR department.

It just seems that now she is being attacked for everything-yesterday on a gossip blog they commented on photos of her arriving in Tokyo. She was not smiling in one of them and that was interpreted as "she hates being in Tokyo to promote Twilight". idk, it just seems unfair to me. Rob says a lot of crazy things as well and never gets flack for it.

Unknown said...

@ Pens - I'm glad you came back. No hate from The League, only love (unless you're a shapeshifting dog ... then all bets are off). ;)

I will say the central difference with why Rob may not get flack is b/c if you listen to what he says it is mostly self-depreciating and he is unfailingly kind and friendly. ... and, he's a hot Englishman, let's not forget how that goes a loooong way. ;)

Ok this is what I would like to see happen....

1. There needs to be a meeting of some sort that we all get to be at, where she is confronted about here arrogant, better than everyone else attitude. She needs to be held accountable for bringing this shame upon the Twilight name.

2. If Kristen is to continue as Bella she needs to send out a formal apology to all Twilighters out there whether she means it or not, but she better mean it. It can not be written out she needs to tell us she is sorry. Even if she stutters while she says it.

3. If the role of Bella were to be recast, I think Alexis Bledel, would do a wonderful job. Slap some brown contacts on the girl and there you go.

Pens said...

Rob>>>>>>>>>KStew in terms of charisma for sure, but he has come up with a few gems (which I agree with for the most part-LOL!!!) such as:

-Stephenie Meyer is mad
-Edward is impotent
-facing 6500 fans is like being at the gates of hell

Traci said...

i think this is going to either (1) bite her in the butt and she is going to become this generation's Sean Young or (2) it is going to have a negative effect on New Moon, Eclipse and (dare we hope for it?) Breaking Dawn as movies. this is a franchise, KStew...you signed on for it -- crazy fans, lots of press, the whole kit-and-kaboodle.

Anonymous said...

1st I would like to nominate myself twilightildawn to do all the stunt work on the scenes were Edward takes Bella for a vampire rides :D

Anonymous said...

I am really concerned that all this will damage the experience we will have on New Moon..I mean with all these feelings toward Kristen we are not going to be sorry when Edward leaves Bella…we are going to be all happy instead of sad….

I don't think that she was right for the role AT ALLLLLLLL!!! I really wouldn't mind if they re-casted her part to ANYBODY even a pig would have done a better job.....

imbeingheldhostage said...

Yeah, I'd love to give her the benefit of... oh flippin' no I wouldn't. From the first interview I've watched her on, she seemed distant and sullen. This isn't one comment taken out of context that has fans fired up, it's her whole attitude-- and really, if she were such a spectacular actress, she'd at least be ACTING like she enjoyed the attention the movie was getting, regardless if she thought it was below her or not.
wow.
I really need to get a life because this post has been on my mind all day.

Pens, Hi I understand your point Rob has made comments too about the book the fans and the all this crazy world that is Twilight...but really...the way he has said this things has been in a humble sarcastic funny weird way...sadly if you are not good at talking in a sarcastic way you can come out wrong...Rob is good as sarcasm and he is just naturally likeable he can't help it...Kristen is not...she does not come out as joking and definitely not humble AT ALL.
For example my brother is the King of sarcasm…it comes out totally hilarious why? Don’t know why even when his comments are totally wrong, he has me in stiches.
Then again my coworker is always sarcastic, and I get so annoyed, don’t know why but his sarcasm is insulting and just plain wrong.

I did not said anything about Kristen before , I kept thinking “well she is just a teenager she doesn’t know how to handle press blah, blah, blah” if you like the person you will find a way to excuse their faults, their insults or disrespectful comments…until enough is enough, I guess the point is she is not likeable enough to excuse her. I don’t think she is that nice. Sadly she seems very selfish. Obviously she is not thinking about her fans when she talks that way.

I like her as Bella I think she has a great chemistry with Rob, and I’m quite sure that Rob will not want to make these movies without her…

Kristen’s dad really made all these worse…he has to come out and make things right, if possible. But I feel that her dad and even Kristen might feel there is nothing go say about this b/c it seems they don’t really care about what we feel or think about it.

I am ready to start all over with Kristen and support her 100% if she at least acknowledges this situation.

Sue Wilkey said...

If she thinks Twilight is beneath her, why'd she agree to do the movies?????

She's just pissed that all the screaming and fanaticism is about Robert, not her.

But we all love Ashley - why? Because she's sweet and enthusiastic and fully supports the movie, the franchise and the fans.

Also? Anyone who doesn't dump their boyfriend for Robert is a dumbass.

As far as immaturity on being a factor for the meehhhhh-ness, Taylor Swift is 18 and she ain't dropping twenty eff bombs in Nylon Magazine.

I just think KS needs to see the big pic- and vent to her mom, bf, best friend, dog, neighbor, ANYONE! Instead of to the media outlets or magazines. She needs a PR person to help her out on decisions just to make her the best she can be. Because this aint it.

The apple don't fall far from the tree tehe, the dad was prob just saying something he heard Kristen say earlier that day. He didn't make that up.

Sue- Ashley is the bomb!

Kristen needs to watch her PR. Her agent must be either dead or writhing in pain at some of these comments. There are truly no excuses beyond that.

And umm, Spank, I'm casting my vote for you. When are the primaries??

I don't want a new Bella, I just want someone to swat her upside the head. Lighten up, and get off the artsy bandwagon girly.

I like Natalie Portman-- BUT, have you watched Star Wars lately? She was pretty dang stiff in that. But that gives me hope-- maybe K. just needs to mature? It could happen!

"How dare she not share our devotion! How dare she have thoughts and opinions of her own and have the gall to actually talk about them in public!"

It's not like she gave an awesome performance in "Adventureland." Or that Pattinson has said similarly unkind things that conveniently get ignored because OMG HE'S SO HAWT!!!

Or, you know, that the movie was utter puerile nonsense that didn't even bother making sure they got the baseball right (so Bella's step-dad is in Spring Training after the season's started?), or that no one older than 17 has any excuse for liking them.

The best thing to come from Stephanie Meyer's I-can't-believe-it's-not-abstinence-propaganda series was Rod Hilton's script over at The Editing Room.
