Aunt Flo meet the Cullens?

I have a certain question about Edward and Bella that comes up about once a month. Seriously, how does Edward (or the rest of the Cullens for that matter!) handle Bella's monthly visitor? I know this is gross, but it's BLOOD and they're VAMPIRES who are abstaining from human blood. Does Bella take a week off from the Cullens? How does Edward handle her "human moments" during Aunt Flo's visit?

Vampax

Uh, TMI Rain!!! *snicker*

If I were Bella/Piss Ant, I don't think I'd ever have my period because I'd be in ovulation mode 24/7 with Edward around. Yowzer babe!

You know... Bella's time of the month might just be the time Edward can have his cake and eat it too.

I can't believe I just said that.

Adults have a Choice Awards

This is my stop to get off the Twi-Train. I cannot and I will not watch the Teen Choice Awards. It is simply not in my genetic makeup to watch anything hosted by the Jonas Brothers. I don't care if Rob and Kristen walk on stage and suck face while declaring their undying love for each other for all the world to see. I did my civic Twi-duty by lying about my age to vote for Twilight in all their categories now leave me alone with my epsom salt bath and heating pad.

In the past year something dark and evil has emerged from me that I never knew was there. I became a Twi-hard. My maturity level has sunken to an all time low. But how low will I go? Not this low. Sorry, not watching either! Ok, well, I would maybe watch it if all the blinds were drawn, nobody was home, I was shitfaced and wore my Spider avatar around the house to cover my identity!

Okay, you two might not watch the actual show, but don't even try to tell me you won't be watching youtube clips of Rob. I for one am embracing my inner tween these days, so I'll be watching. Okay, I'll be watching delayed on TiVo... so I can skip to the good parts.

I'm glad one of us will be watching. Because ever since I saw the footage of last year's Comic Con, I developed a very strong allergy to screaming tweens. If I hear them, even through the computer or television, I get a very strong urge to kill everyone in sight. So for the benefit of Mr. Ginger and our Gingerettes, I'll refrain from watching.

Rain, I'll do it if you do it... but I'll need A LOT of alcohol. More than usual. Um... drunktweet, anyone?

Can you purchase the entire the beer aisle Spank?

I can buy it and I can drink it...

I lurve drunktweet! I'm in if you're in!

IN!!!

Junior League - Leah: Misunderstood or Menace?

This weeks Jr. League member is: Maddison

Superpower: Has the Pyschic ability to embarrass the male race with her little finger

Twitter ID: Midnight_Gaelic

Blog: http://kenneh.wordpress.com/

Is Leah, is she misunderstood or just a b*tch?

In a way, I always felt sorry for Leah, she seemed to have pulled the shortest stick out of the pack. Her bitterness is what makes her a lot different from the rest, even in wolf form in my opinion and seems not to have gotten over the break up between her and Sam. Glenn Close and an innocent rabbit springs to mind!

You get a sense with Leah that she feels inadequate when it comes to baring children to another and thinks this is a main reason to why Sam never imprinted on her.

Would the story be different if Sam knew that Leah was to become a wolf, would he have imprinted on her then? Or would Sam still go for the 'Less of a bitch' option?

I think imprinting isn't something to be thought through. It just happens when you find your mate in the shapeshifter world. I think it can be true even in reality. People fall in and out of what they call love until they find the one that stops their heart and causes it to beat all at the same time. I do sympathize with Leah, though, because she has to listen to Sam's thoughts which is the equivalent of putting lemon juice over a fresh wound over and over again.

Aren't fairies the ones that avoid lemons? Wait, wrong series! Leah is a little rough around the edges, sure. The rest of the pack aren't exactly too warm and fuzzy to her either (actually they are). I was always kind of hoping that Sam would/could somehow change his mind. But I suppose Stephenie Meyer had to focus her love storyline on two other people who became quite famous!

I always wondered why there was no resolution with Leah. We got to know more about her in Breaking Dawn and then... nothing. No happy ending for Leah, it seems. I definitely feel bad for her, but at the same time, it always irritated me that she couldn't just accept the hospitality of the Cullens - refusing the food and clothes that Esme offered was just plain rude. Maybe she deserved to be alone.

I felt a little sorry for Leah until she repeatedly refused the Cullens' hospitality. They have nothing to do with her being unable to have children or being left by Sam and yet she continued to be rude. Personally I thought she was going to end up with Jacob. You know, two people who didn't have the one they really wanted, so they settled for each other. Would've been better than Jacob imprinting on that freak newborn.

Breaking the Bank or Breaking Dawn?

Why on earth is there talk of making Breaking Dawn THREE movies. Isn't two enough? Didn't they manage to go from "Hello my name is Edward Cullen" to declaration of love in what seemed like 60 seconds. Given that, how long is it actually going to take for them to get married, have fade to black sex, birth a demon child and have the showdown nodown with the Volturi?

And, please, can you imagine an entire movie told from Jacob's perspective? *wrinkling nose*

Oh holy hell. Jacob having an entire movie?! Now that's one movie I don't have to watch.

After a little thought, I agree to the three movie deal if this is how it plays out:

1. The wedding
2. Isle Esme
3. Isle Esme part II, "The League Cut"

Reality Bites

What is a Superheroine to do while waiting for Midnight Sun to be published and New Moon to be released? Why immerse herself in the world of the Cullens on Twitter, of course. I too was quite surprised to find that they have actually Twitter accounts but I guess it is a great way to spend time when you have nothing but time on your cold marble hands.

Oh, Spank hun, I'm so sorry to learn that you have that much time on your hands. Me, not so much. While you let your fingers do the texting, I let my fingers do the tosseling... of Robert's hair that is. He is just so delicious that I couldn't bear to tell you he was here, in the "love web"

Four words: My own personal Jasper. Top that, webmaster.

You can have his shit, I want a man that doesn't have bowel issues!

"Cat Fight!!!" *ducking*

I'm not a cat, I'm a spider. And let me tell you, monkey's don't F' around! Nasty little creatures!

Eow Spider! Feeling feisty today, are we? I think Spider really just wants her own personal Edward on Twitter. Let it out Spider, it's okay.

Sultry Bloody Sunday: I'm a Man!

In Al Pacino's voice from "Scent of a Woman" WHOA! Yeah baby, now that's what I'm a talking about.

So this is what feminine looks like, Nikki? *raises rainbow flag up the pole proudly*

I sure wish they would've picked some good pics of him where he actually looks like a man. *wink*

I don't think there is anything better than watching Rob display his masculinity for four minutes and twenty eight seconds. Unless of course he was right here in front of me to show me his manhood...

Compost Tea

The League has never discussed Bella's human friends. So I think it's high time we address the elephant in the room. And by elephant I mean Eric, the ambiguously gay playa.

I don't remember there being a gaysian in the book. Oh Eric, we love you. You're totally the kind of guy we'd want picking out our clothes.

Yeah, Angela and Jessica would have had much better help picking out prom dresses had they taken Eric instead of Bella.

I loved Eric. I wanted him to go dress shopping with me. In fact, maybe Bella should have asked for his fashion advice before the prom. He would have told her how awful those converse looked with that dress. I know...I know, Spank, you like that look. *rolling eyes*

Eric didn't just want to go to "LaPush baby" but make that an adjective with Mike Newton. And wasn't he a little TOO excited about "the worm".

Yes he did seem to like showing everyone his worm, didn't he?
